A while ago I stumbled on this image. A H&R Business Card. So what's wrong with this BC ?

• Notice the content's position on the lower part of this BC. Yuk! lets send these guys some rulers.
• Dinks and Bends on a card tells me one thing... 12point stock paper... smh.
• That is not the color of H&R's very beautiful green box logo... Pantone check that.

Now this isn't the worst card I have seen but I thought maybe showing that even a big corporation like H&R could be criticized for their attempt on having a business card. Besides, many corporations have weak BC's, it's understandable... lol.



This guy is Hilarious.. But he is the man.

1. Just a hint of miscellany is good, don't go crazy with designs.
2. Connect the front and back. You want people to be curious enough to look on the other side. This creates "Discovery" people get pleasure in discovering. Use it.
3. Separate from the business this shows I am an Individual in my company. This is my information because this is my business card.
4. Company Info slightly bold because this information you need to know. This is who I work with, know it, learn it, follow up.
5. Big logo, but again using discovery as technique if you didn't notice  before now you have just discovered it, and now my logo is embed in your thoughts, you will know who we are.
6. Website . to keep it simple all our facebook and twitter information is located on our website. Our website is very fun to look at so we can invite people to it and be assured they will be pleased.
7. This card is 16pt | Spot UV | Round Tip | Matte Finished. We took it one step higher and Spot UV only the color to excite it instead of pop it because the black pops off the card anyway. Definitely search other techniques for business cards, stick with something that suits your company style.
